Kata Basket with Slit Handle

Create Natural, Beautiful Storage with the Kata Basket

Bring warmth, texture, and effortless organisation into your home with the Kata Basket with Slit Handle. Handwoven from braided jute, this multifunctional basket offers a beautiful way to store everyday belongings or display a favourite plant.

Designed and curated by KORISSA in New York and handmade by artisan partners in Bangladesh, every Kata Basket reflects the character of natural materials and traditional handcraftsmanship.

Natural, Handwoven Design:

Braided Jute Construction: Thick natural jute creates rich texture and a grounded, organic appearance.

Handwoven by Artisans: Each basket is individually crafted by hand, giving it subtle variations and one-of-a-kind character.

Integrated Slit Handles: Discreet handles make the basket easier to carry while maintaining its clean, streamlined shape.

Versatile Natural Finish: The warm neutral colour blends beautifully with relaxed, rustic, minimalist, and contemporary interiors.

Multifunctional Everyday Storage:

Three Sizes Available: Choose from Small, Medium, and Large to suit your storage and styling needs.

Practical Organisation: Use the baskets to gather blankets, magazines, toys, craft supplies, towels, or other household essentials.

Decorative Planter Cover: Place a separately potted plant inside to introduce natural texture and greenery to your space. Use a waterproof liner or saucer to protect the jute from moisture.

Easy to Coordinate: Display one basket as a simple accent or combine multiple sizes for a cohesive, layered arrangement.

Care Instructions:

Dust or vacuum the basket regularly.

Wipe gently with a damp cloth when necessary.

Do not rub stains or spills, as this may spread the mark or loosen the jute fibres.

Allow the basket to dry thoroughly if it becomes wet.

Keep out of direct sunlight to help prevent fading or changes in colour.

Ideal for:

Creating stylish storage in living rooms, bedrooms, nurseries, or home offices.

Displaying potted plants with added natural texture.

Organising everyday items while maintaining a calm, uncluttered home.

Make Everyday Organisation Feel Effortless:
