Designed and curated by KORISSA in New York and handmade by fair trade artisan partners in Bangladesh, the Savar Basket offers beautiful everyday storage with a story behind every knot.

Natural, Handcrafted Design:

Handwoven by Artisans: Each basket is carefully woven by hand, giving every piece its own subtle variations and individual character.

Natural Plant Fibres: Made from raw jute and seagrass for an organic texture that brings warmth and softness to the home.

Neutral Colour Palette: The combination of natural and white fibres coordinates easily with calm, earthy, and contemporary interiors.

Convenient Side Handle: The integrated handle adds visual interest while making the basket easier to carry and reposition.

Beautiful Everyday Storage:

Versatile Organisation: Use it to hold throws, towels, toys, craft supplies, magazines, or other household essentials.

Two Sizes Available: Choose the size that best suits your space or pair both together for a coordinated storage arrangement.

Decorative and Practical: The rounded shape and woven texture allow the basket to double as a decorative accent when not being used for storage.

Handcrafted Character:

Because each Savar Basket is handmade from natural materials, slight variations in size, colour, and design are expected. These differences are part of what makes every basket unique.

Care Instructions:

Dust or vacuum regularly to help keep the basket clean.

Wipe gently with a damp cloth when necessary.

Do not rub spills or stains, as this may spread the mark or loosen the natural fibres.

Allow the basket to dry thoroughly if it becomes wet.

Keep away from direct sunlight to help prevent fading or changes in colour.

Ideal for:

Organising everyday household items without compromising on style.

Adding natural texture to a living room, bedroom, nursery, or bathroom.

Those who appreciate thoughtfully made pieces and traditional artisan craftsmanship.

Make Organisation Feel More Intentional:

The Savar Basket offers a simple way to create a home that feels calmer and more considered. Whether it is holding favourite blankets, gathering children’s toys, or keeping daily essentials close by, it turns practical storage into something warm, beautiful, and connected to the people who made it.
